Your healing journey can take a different path…
Reconnect with Nature. Reconnect with Yourself.
Ecotherapy—also known as nature-based therapy or green therapy—is a powerful, holistic approach to healing that invites you to step outside the traditional therapy room and into the natural world. Whether it's sitting beside a quiet creek, walking through the forest, or relaxing in a hammock beneath the trees, nature offers a safe, grounding space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and goals.
Here are just a few of the many benefits of ecotherapy:
Reduced Stress and Anxiety
Spending time in nature helps lower stress hormones, regulate your nervous system, and ease symptoms of anxiety. The natural world offers a calm, nonjudgmental space where your body and mind can begin to relax and heal.
Improved Mood and Mental Clarity
Natural settings can help lift your mood, sharpen focus, and ease depression. The fresh air, movement, and sensory experience of being outdoors often bring renewed energy and a sense of emotional release.
Unique Offer: Hammock Therapy
One of the most soothing elements of my ecotherapy sessions is the option to engage in hammock therapy—a calming experience where you can relax in a supportive hammock, surrounded by the sounds and sights of nature.
Gently swaying in a hammock during therapy can deepen the sense of safety and ease, allowing emotions to surface naturally and conversations to flow more freely. This unique approach blends the comfort of rest with the therapeutic power of presence.
Deepened Mind-Body Connection
Ecotherapy encourages you to slow down and listen—to your body, to the earth, and to your inner self. Whether you're walking barefoot, watching clouds drift by, or simply breathing in fresh air, these practices support mindfulness and grounded awareness.
A Natural Space for Insight and Growth
Nature often mirrors our inner landscape. In outdoor therapy sessions, metaphors and moments of reflection arise organically—through changing seasons, flowing water, or even animal encounters—offering insight, inspiration, and a path toward healing.
A Gentle, Welcoming Approach
You don’t need to be an experienced hiker or an “outdoorsy” person to benefit from ecotherapy. Sessions are adapted to your needs, comfort level, and accessibility. Healing might look like sitting by a creek, tending a garden, or reclining in a hammock with a warm blanket—whatever helps you feel safe, supported, and connected.
